Army Spec. 4 Anthony Wayne Kidd who died March 1, 1991 after stepping on a land mine somewhere in the Middle East was laid to rest in Rockport Cemetery. Sp4 Kidd was the last to die from Allen County and died 40 hours after the Gulf War's announced cease-fire.
